High quality cast bronze lock set is a perfect style for homes built around c 1900. Large door plates would cover most any existing holes and would fit on most doors. These door plates were designed with only one key hole, key does operate from both sides of lock, if needed would be easy enough to add a key hole. When these older sets are used on exterior doors its almost always in conjunction with a separate top security lock, skeleton keys are seldom actually used. Set and door plates can be mounted on either side of a door, has a reversiblestrike plate and latch.
