Exceptional high quality heavy cast bronze set in pristine condition retaining original un-blemished finish. This set most likely dates to the roaring 20’s and appears to have been stored away or not used. Jumbo size door plates designed without key holes, can still lock from inside of room. With push button on face of lock in locked position the outside door knob locks and won’t turn, but inside knob will. This would make a perfect entry set in conjunction with a separate deadbolt for security which is the norm when using antique locks. Could also be used on large Victorian interior doors. This set mounts on the right side of door when facing the front, with door swinging into room These back plates are shown behind the rare buffalo knob.
